COMMITTEE POSTS
The committee are looking to fill the roles of Treasurer and Halfway House Manager. If you can help, please approach anyone on the committee.
The Treasurer post would suit someone who can work with spreadsheets.
The Halfway House Manager would be responsible for ensuring the halfway houses are stocked and manned for inter club matches and several major competitions including the Senior Open. You would not be expected to man the halfway house yourself and miss out on golf.
Bird and Bat Box Project
We now have 18 starling bird boxes properly sited in accordance with RSPB guidelines and an owl box which has been sited on the 6th hole. 16 bat boxes have also been sited.

WHS Handicapping Changes from 1st April 2024
Your handicaps will be calculated differently from 1st April 2024. More details are available on the Golf Information page under Handicapping.

Bookings
Below are some points to note regarding booking:
The booking and subsequent draw will be carried out via HowDidiDo and the V1 system:
  • In order to book, either use HowDidiDo, selecting the relevant Seniors’ competition or contact the Proshop/Office prior to 5.00pm on the Monday before the competition, as this is when the draw happens, following this you will receive an email with your tee time.
  • Members without emails should ring the Proshop for their tee time/fellow players
  • Please note that there are now two time zones for the 18 hole competition and a separate availability for the 9 hole competition.
  • From 1st November 2021 we will be going off 2 tees, the 1st and 10th.​
